yep, tomato, paula and the little potato (which they seem to have named Molly, but who will always be named potato to me - thanks Dad!) got in touch - they're doing fine, bless 'em.

Critical theory encourages us to reflect on and critique society, to look both inwards and outwards. I became interested early on in exploring one aspect of my identity, being Deaf. Thus, I tend to look at the world–both "theirs" and "ours" from a critical perspective. ....WHAT KINDS OF THINGS DO YOU WRITE? For me, writing is something I'm learning to do both in ASL and in English. In the past two years it's mostly been papers and dissertations, with bits of "juicy stuff" trapped within. I write nonfiction about Education and the Deaf Community from a historicist Deaf perspective. I also write fiction... and often it's about Deaf people.

Aww, that's great that they are doing well! If Tomato sends you pics, mind sharing with me? I've been bugging him for pics and he claims that they haven't uploaded them on the comp. I want to see what little Potato looks like! ;)
will keep an eye open for little potato chips... hope to hear from him on that score soon. but might be they want a little time alone with Little Miss Mashed before Revealing to the World? See-see....
